Dr. Jeffery Hollis is passionate about family medicine. As a graduate of the Lincoln Family Medicine Residency Program, he welcomed the opportunity to come back as a Faculty member. He wants to be able to mentor and encourage young doctors as they pursue their medical practice. This is maybe best expressed by the advice Dr. Hollis often shares: “Be mindful that each person wants to be heard and needs compassion.”
Dr. Hollis graduated from Doane University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He obtained his Medical Degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine in Missouri. After obtaining his board certification in Family Medicine, Dr. Hollis began his family medicine practice in 1984 in Geneva, Nebraska, then transitioned to telemedicine in 2019 before joining the Residency Program faculty.
Dr. Hollis is married with three grown children and two grandchildren. Although he grew up in Denver, Colorado, Dr. Hollis has always enjoyed the pace of life in Nebraska. He likes spending time with his family, doing church activities, exercising, and sharing meals with friends. He also enjoys being a TeamMates mentor.
