House Officer I: $65,094
House Officer II: $67,504

Professional liability insurance is provided at no cost to residents. Allowances for life, dental, health and disability insurance are provided with several plans to suit specific needs.

Residents are entitled to four weeks of vacation and 12 days of sick/wellness leave per year. Additional family medical leave is available per the American Board of Family Medicine policy.

Residents are allowed five working days per year to attend approved educational conferences. Program funds are available to assist with expenses.

Residents may participate in the University of Nebraska tax- deferred investment plan.

Residents are able to borrow money interest-free for moving expenses during their residency training.

A one-time $200 stipend is provided to each resident to put toward a smartphone of their choice. In addition, $240 is reimbursed twice a year for the resident’s phone bill. In-house call for LFMP patients is not required

The Program provides membership to the Lancaster County Medical Society, Nebraska Medical Association, Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians, and American Academy of FamilyPhysicians to all residents. DEA fees will be paid by the Program.

We provide lunch for our residents at many of our noon conferences. Breakfast and lunch are available free of charge at each teaching hospital’s doctors’ lounge.

Personalized white coats and scrubs are provided for residents.

Free parking is available at local hospitals and Lincoln Family Medicine Center.

Each incoming resident will be provided a MacBook Air for use in the clinic and at home.

Secure electronic medical records provide access to patient records from home and hospitals.
