Our Faculty
The Lincoln Family Medicine Residency Program is dedicated to education and creating our nation’s finest family physicians. We understand that reputation and networking are vital to any career and we are proud to provide the reciprocal support that LFMP and the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) demonstrate toward one another as a long-standing tradition. This mutually supportive approach contributes to our success in training family medicine physicians to provide first-class health care for citizens throughout the state and Great Plains.
Our faculty members hold private practice experience and full hospital privileges. Lincoln’s medical community demonstrates continuous commitment in training our residents, who are first in line for all procedural experience. A faculty of nine board-certified family physicians and a practice manager is the driving force that enables residents to realize their full potential.

One-to-one Support
As Lincoln’s only training program for MDs and DOs, our residents are able to work on the front lines performing procedures and patient care with one-to-one supervision. We continually consider this one of our most valuable assets of our residency. Our progressive family medicine center receives strong financial support from the medical community and physicians. Major funding for our program comes from Bryan Health, CHI Health St. Elizabeth, and UNMC health systems, and from fees for patient services.
