Emily Sullivan, DO

First-year Resident

For Emily Sullivan, DO, working with people and helping those around her, along with an interest in health science and biology, were the perfect combination of reasons that led her to pursue a career in medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Iowa and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from A. T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri.

Family Medicine is the right specialty for Dr. Sullivan because it gives her the ability to care for a variety of diseases and work with patients through all stages of life. She chose to come to Lincoln Family Medicine Residency Program because of its supportive network, the full scope of training, and its focus on patient continuity.

Dr. Sullivan grew up in Osage, Iowa. She is married to Dr. Daniel Owen and they have a cat named Ellie. She enjoys time spent with family, reading, trying new foods and cuisine, and playing with her cat.
