Third-year Curriculum
In their final year of training at Lincoln Family Medicine Center in Lincoln NE, third-year residents will work in subspecialty areas, including:
Ambulatory Care — 4 weeks
Athletic Medicine — 2 weeks
Chief Resident — 8 weeks
Critical Care — 4 weeks
Dermatology — 4 weeks
Geriatrics — 4 weeks
Ophthalmology — 2 weeks
Trauma — 2 weeks
Urology — 2 weeks
Electives — 14 weeks
Each resident will also be required to be Chief Resident. In this role, they will provide leadership, support the goals of the residency program, and act as a mentor and advocate for the residents.
